Sugar cane cups: the most eco-friendly option

Undoubtedly the most eco-friendly option you can offer your customers when taking their coffee to go. Sugar cane cups, also known as sugar cane bagasse cups, are the most environmentally friendly alternative you can find on the market today.

Its origin, the material of the sugar cane plant that remains after the extraction of the sugar juice, is totally natural, making it ideal for creating sustainable and ecological cups, polluting less than classic plastic cups.
  • Thermal properties: Cane bagasse cups are characterised by their good thermal properties that make them perfect to contain both hot and cold drinks without altering their resistance.
  • 100% biodegradable and compostable: This means that they do not have any kind of plastic lamination inside and can be composted at industrial level. However, this does not mean that they can be disposed of anywhere, they must be recycled in the organic bin.

In addition, the Wasara product line is made entirely from materials that are totally biodegradable and compostable, so that they can even be disposed of in domestic composting systems.
